The Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan is one of the most important picture galleries in Italy. It is located in the Palazzo Brera and contains an outstanding collection of Italian paintings from the 13th to the 20th century.
This gallery is the result of the cultural program of the Accademia di Belle Arti and serves as an exhibition space for works of art originally intended for the education of students.
