Tajne srbo-jugoslavenske agresije na Hrvatsku

Božo Petričević

The book explores the political, military, and intelligence circumstances of the breakup of Yugoslavia and the events that led to the aggression against Croatia and the Homeland War.

Secrets of the Serbian-Yugoslav Aggression against Croatia is a publicistic and historical work by Božo Petričević that deals with the causes, course and consequences of the aggression against the Republic of Croatia in the early 1990s. The author seeks to shed light on the political, military and intelligence processes that preceded the collapse of the SFR Yugoslavia and the outbreak of the Homeland War.

The book analyzes the actions of the then political leadership of Yugoslavia, the role of the Yugoslav People's Army and the activities of various political and security structures that influenced the development of the conflict. Special attention is paid to the plans, strategies and events that led to armed conflicts in Croatia and the organization of the defense of the young Croatian state.

The author uses documents, testimonies, newspaper sources and his own research to present the complexity of the historical circumstances in which Croatia achieved independence. In addition to describing military operations and political decisions, the work also deals with international circumstances, diplomatic processes and the influence of the media on shaping public opinion during the war years.

The book is intended for readers interested in recent Croatian history, the Homeland War, and the processes that marked the end of the Yugoslav state. Regardless of the different interpretations of individual events, the work represents a contribution to the study of a period that had a decisive influence on the creation of the modern Republic of Croatia, and encourages further research and understanding of this complex historical time.
