Pripovijesti i pričanja

Stjepan Mitrov-Ljubiša

Priče i povesti (1875) je zbirka proznih tekstova Stjepana Mitrova Ljubiše, jednog od najznačajnijih srpskih pisaca 19. veka iz Boke Kotorske. Knjiga sadrži Priče Vuka Dojčevića i Priče iz Crne Gore i Primorja.

Zbirka obuhvata kratke priče, skice i narodne priče koje prikazuju život, običaje i duh Bokokotorskog zaliva, posebno Prčnja, autorovog rodnog mesta. Ljubiša, poznat po svom realizmu i narodnom jeziku, donosi priče prožete humorom, ironijom i dubokim razumevanjem ljudske prirode, često inspirisane usmenom tradicijom.

Radnja se odvija u primorskom okruženju, gde se prepliću pomorske avanture, ljubavne priče i društvene intrige. Ključne kratke priče, poput Skočiđevojke, Kanjoša Macedonovića i Popa Anta, prikazuju živopisne likove – mornare, trgovce, sveštenike i obične ljude – koji se suočavaju sa moralnim dilemama, ljubavlju i sudbinom. Ljubiša majstorski koristi bokeljski dijalekat, obogaćen lokalizmima, što daje autentičnost i šarm njegovim tekstovima. Teme uključuju sukob između tradicije i modernosti, časti, pravde i zajedništva, uz suptilnu kritiku društvenih nepravdi.

Zbirka je značajna po svojoj etnografskoj vrednosti, čuvajući kulturu i folklor Bokokotorskog zaliva. Ljubišin stil, prožet toplinom i duhovitošću, čini delo univerzalnim, dok njegova sposobnost da uhvati dušu naroda ostavlja trajan trag u srpskoj književnosti.
