Ješa's Three Heroic Days is a humorous story for children in which the author follows the adventures and (mis)adventures of the boy Ješa, a lively, curious, and somewhat mischievous hero.
The children read about "real Sarajlians" whom the author calls "Indians" because they are natives of their city - they know every street, every corner and every secret like the Indians knew their forests.
The work brings together a gallery of colorful characters – family members, village neighbors, teachers, friends – who shape Ćopić's childish view of the world.
The novel U registratura is Kovačić's best work, in which he deals with the problem of the transition from the peasant class to the lordly class.
