Zagor LU #168: Čovjek koji je došao s Orijenta
Young samurai Takeda leaves Japan for Darkwood to avenge his lord Minamoto’s death. The man he has been commanded to find and kill is Zagor.
Čovjek koji je došao s Orijenta begins in Japan, where a lord’s death confronts his samurai with the ultimate demand of loyalty. Young Takeda does not follow his fellow warriors into ritual death because he has been entrusted with another duty: to find the man responsible for Minamoto’s defeat and avenge his master.
His target is Zagor. Crossing the ocean to Darkwood, Takeda believes he must fulfil this final obligation. Revenge becomes the purpose of his journey, setting up a confrontation driven by personal determination and a rigid understanding of a warrior’s code.
Moreno Burattini brings a samurai revenge story into an adventure western. The suspense comes from an adversary who regards his actions as a matter of honour. For Takeda, the pursuit is not simply a hunt for an enemy but a mission to which he has devoted his life. Loyalty to the past and the consequences of vengeance give the conflict its personal stakes.
Massimo Pesce connects the Japanese opening with the American wilderness and preparations for confrontation. This issue begins a three-part adventure continued in Srce i mač and concluded in Ludens #170, Vrijeme za osvetu.
