Growing up in a Christian family, Demos takes over the family dairy farm, but feels a strong spiritual calling. A key part of the story is his vision to evangelize business people, whom he recognizes as spiritually empty despite their material success. This vision leads to the founding of FGBMFI, an organization that brings together laypeople from different Christian denominations to spread the faith and foster fellowship.

Shakarian describes his experience of being led by the Holy Spirit, including prayers for healing and organizing evangelistic gatherings. The book emphasizes the importance of recognizing God’s visions and putting them into practice, emphasizing that “the happiest people” are those who find meaning in faith and service to others.
