A collection of short stories and poems, intended for younger schoolchildren, it was also the winner of the "Grigor Vitez" award for 1969. It has seen numerous editions, partly because its title story was included in the reading list.
An interesting story about a big elephant that people started moving in with, because the elephant was very good and big as a house. But people being people, some started abusing his kindness and started entering the elephant without asking. And so on until the elephant got very angry and used cunning to drive them away.
