The plot follows the tireless Inspector Juve, a Parisian police officer, in his obsessive quest to capture Fantômas, a brilliant and elusive criminal known for his brutal crimes and masterful art of disguise.
In this book, Fantomas continues his daring and brutal crimes, including murder and robbery, while challenging Juve with his ability to always evade justice. In addition to Juve, the journalist Fandor plays a key role, helping in the investigation and often finding himself in danger due to Fantomas' traps.
