Knjiga čita se u jednom dahu, puna je zanimljivih priča i podataka o autorovim avanturama pri rasvjetljavanju UDB-e i stravičnih jugokomunističkih zločina nakon II. svjetskog rata. Nastala na temelju višegodišnjih istraživanja, dio je šireg opusa o propisima, metodama i sredstvima rada UDB-e i KOS-a.

Leljak je otkrio tajne poput Hude Jame i sudjelovao u iskopima masovnih grobišta tisuća žrtava. Djelo ističe borbu protiv totalitarnog naslijeđa, bez podrške, samo autorovom upornošću.
