Opatija 67 – X konkurs Jugoslavenske radiotelevizije

Official festival sheet music collection with 18 compositions performed at the 10th Opatija Festival in 1967, including songs by Arsen Dedić, Stipica Kalogjera, Alfi Kabilj and other authors.

Opatija 67 – 10th Competition of the Yugoslav Radio and Television is the official festival sheet music collection published in 1967 by the Croatian Composers' Association (UKH) in Zagreb, in the Zabavna Melodije edition. The publication was created on the occasion of the tenth edition of the Opatija Festival, at that time the most prestigious festival of popular music in Yugoslavia, and represents a valuable document of musical production in the second half of the 1960s.

The book contains sheet music and lyrics for eighteen compositions selected for the festival program. Among the authors represented are some of the most important names on the music scene of the time: Arsen Dedić, Stipica Kalogjera, Alfi Kabiljo, Đorđe Novković, Jure Robežnik, Mojmir Sepe, Aleksandar Džambazov, Jože Privšek and others. The collection includes songs performed by leading singers of the time, and some compositions, such as Vino i gitare, Dosta je, Dojdi and Na deževen dan, have remained permanently associated with the history of the Opatija Festival.

The publication provides an insight into the diversity of Yugoslav pop music of the time, bringing together authors and performers from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. In addition to its musical value, the book has significant documentary and collector's value, as it testifies to the period when Opatija was the center of the festival and recording scene.

Today, this edition is of interest to collectors of vinyl, festival memorabilia, researchers of popular culture and fans of pop music of the 1960s. As an original festival booklet, it represents an authentic testimony to the golden age of the Opatija festival and the development of modern domestic pop music.
