Zagor – Kolor #8: Morbovska prijetnja -

In Morbovska prijetnja (The Morb Threat), Zagor faces enemies whose ambitions extend far beyond Darkwood. The alien Morb are preparing to invade Earth and have chosen the forest as their first foothold. Their arrival introduces a danger that ordinary weapons and familiar fighting methods may be unable to stop.

An unexpected ally comes from another world: Brad Barron, a man who already knows the invaders and how they operate. His experience and advanced weaponry complement Zagor’s resourcefulness and determination. Their alliance brings together heroes from different times and fictional worlds.

Tito Faraci, Brad Barron’s creator, builds their encounter around science-fiction action. Walter Venturi’s artwork combines the forest setting with alien technology and strange creatures, while the colouring reinforces the departure from the familiar dangers of the frontier.

The episode’s distinctive feature is the meeting of two Bonelli series. Darkwood becomes the point where wilderness adventure encounters an alien-invasion story, and protecting its inhabitants becomes part of a struggle against a threat on a much larger scale.
