Zagor LU #315: Usijana stijena
Thunderman and the Flying Man gather warriors and strike at Zagor’s allies. Seriously wounded, Zagor fights for his life as his enemies continue their campaign of revenge.
Usijana stijena continues the conflict begun in Slijepa srdžba. The alliance between Thunderman and Marcus, the Flying Man, becomes a serious threat to Darkwood. Two old enemies now act together, extending their vengeance to people associated with Zagor.
After attacking Chief Wapah’s Shawnee, the adversaries move on with their warriors. Zagor, meanwhile, lies wounded between life and death. The balance of power shifts precisely when his intervention is most urgently needed.
Burattini develops an adventure in which the hero’s vulnerability drives the suspense. Rather than assuming Zagor can immediately seize the initiative, readers face a situation in which his enemies gain time and freedom to pursue their plans. Personal revenge spreads into a wider conflict affecting the surrounding community.
The Esposito brothers emphasise physical danger, movement and the distinctive presence of the villains. The series’ fantastic elements remain connected to the immediate consequences of violence, while uncertainty about Zagor’s recovery sustains the tension.
This is the middle chapter of the storyline spanning Ludens #314–316, following Slijepa srdžba and leading to the conclusion in the opening section of Thundermanovo ludilo.
