A book by Noam Chomsky, one of the most prominent critics of American imperialism and its ubiquitous hegemony. In the book, Chomsky analyzes "American state terrorism", in which he questions the role of the USA in the Middle East and Latin America. As well as the role of the media in the manipulation of the American public in matters related to terrorism and the fight against it. The book also includes chapters on Iran, Libya, events related to the second Palestinian intifada, and an exhaustive presentation and analysis of the consequences of the events of September 11, 2001 in world politics.
