Like a modern-day Robin Hood, Vladimir, with the help of his friend Frank, brings justice to his own hands in close encounters with a notorious drug lord and his henchmen. There are also exciting scenes of gambling in the casino, dangerous car chases under a rain of bullets, and even the obligatory dead man in the pool - just like in some tense action movie. All this is, of course, spiced up with imaginative love scenes. It is therefore about postmodern self-referential prose, that is, a conscious, even ironic, playing with genre formulas.
