Pisma iz Diletantije

Pisma iz Diletantije

Zvonimir Berković

Zvonimir Berković, film director, screenwriter, theater critic and essayist, brings his letters, published in Globus and Vjesnik, to real and symbolic addressees of the Croatian past and present in one place.

In his letters-essays, Berković tries to send a message to the protagonists of the authorities in Croatia about their professional and ethical obligations towards the people who elected the politicians. In his epistles, the author, talking about the Croatian present, often talks about its past, but also vice versa, proving at the same time the entire complexity and intertwining of the history and the present of Croatian society. With an afterword by Marko Grčić.
