After the extremely successful novel Kintsugi of the Body, for which Meša Selimović won the Meša Selimović Award and in which she described the experience of the painful process of healing physical and emotional scars, Senka Maric has written an equally multi-layered work that also brings us a story about the female experience, loneliness and the search for meaning. Writing about growing up and maturing between two completely different women, the author manages to write an almost universal history of our ancestors whose experiences have determined our lives.
