Originally highlighted as the motto of the historic visit of St. Pope John Paul II to the Diocese of Đakovo-Srijem in 2003, this thought became the official episcopal motto of Msgr. Ivan Ćurić, drawing on the rich tradition of conciliar ecclesiology and communion (koinonia). The thought begins with the realization that the Christian mission is not just an individual act or task of the church hierarchy, but a common calling of all the baptized.
