Kad ljudska inteligencija postane majmunska

Kad ljudska inteligencija postane majmunska

Josh Greenberger

In his text "When Human Intelligence Becomes Simian," Josh Greenberger sharply criticizes society’s regression toward primitive instincts, mass conformist hypnosis, and the loss of critical thinking.

In his insightful and provocative piece, "When Human Intelligence Becomes Monkey-Like," author Josh Greenberger addresses the concerning state of contemporary society, in which rational thought, individuality, and deeper awareness are increasingly giving way to mere conformity and primitive pack instincts. Greenberger uses the term "monkey-like intelligence" as a metaphor to describe the human tendency to mindlessly follow the crowd, accept superficial information without verification, and submit to trends that erode personal integrity and intellectual freedom. The text serves as a sharp warning regarding the dangers of intellectual stagnation and spiritual regression. Rather than technological and social progress being accompanied by a growth in wisdom and consciousness, the author observes a troubling reversal: people are voluntarily abandoning the gifts of their own minds, surrendering instead to instincts, mass hypnosis, and a false sense of belonging. Through a powerful critique, Greenberger calls upon us to wake up, re-examine our own views, and return to genuine, critical, and independent thinking—the very qualities that make us truly human.
