"Many years ago I published a number of poems, and forgot about them. I was fifteen years old at the time. Actually, I was thirteen or fourteen when I wrote them, and they were published as "Poems of a Fifteen-Year-Old" in the magazine Forum."
The book contains a selection of Šop's poetry and prose, the play The Eternal Prelude, Šop's letters to Dragutin Tadijanović, and memories of his acquaintance with Francis Jammes. The selection was compiled and the foreword written by Branimir Donat.
The birth, childhood, upbringing and warlike exploits of the giant Gargantua: a satire on scholasticism, wars, monasticism and society, with grotesque humour, enormous eating/drinking and utopian ideals.
This is a collection in which the city becomes an interlocutor, a space whose streets, parks and courtyards become places of encounter (with oneself).
The collection "Uglavnom adjevjevi" by Hrvoje Jurić brings together ten cycles of poetic sketches and poems.
The book is structured as a series of poems that function like rooms in a "motel" – temporary spaces where emotions, memories, and anonymous human destinies are stored.
