Bourneov identitet

Bourneov identitet

Robert Ludlum

The Bourne Identity is the first novel in the iconic Jason Bourne series, published in 1980. This spy thriller is one of Ludlum's most famous works, which became the basis for popular film adaptations.

The story begins when an unknown man is found seriously wounded on the coast of the Mediterranean. After he wakes up, the man discovers that he suffers from amnesia - he doesn't know who he is or where he came from. The only clues to his identity are an embedded Swiss bank account number and a number of unusual skills such as martial abilities and knowledge of foreign languages.

This man takes the name Jason Bourne and embarks on a dangerous journey to discover his true identity. In the process, he faces threats from various international organizations and secret agents. Bourne discovers that he is connected to a secret government program called Treadstone, and that he is being pursued by the powerful international assassin Carlos.
