Lexicon of measurement units is a professional lexicographical work in the field of metrology.

The introductory part provides an overview of the basic metrology concepts related to measurement units. The lexicon section provides an alphabetical description of about 600 units of measurement: legal units of measurement (units of the International System and exceptionally permitted units), units that were used before the introduction of the International System, some foreign units of measurement, and historical units of measurement that were used on the soil of today's Croatia. Basic information is given about each unit: unit name, unit symbol, definition, connection with other units, areas of application and other notes. In the tabular part, the units of measurement according to conceptual groups are clearly listed. Alphabetical order, graphical marking of the type of units and tabular overviews enable easy and quick finding of data on the unit of measurement. In the Lexicon of measurement units, the display of modern measurement units is aligned with the latest recommendations of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures, international and Croatian standards (ISO and HRN), European Union Guidelines for measurement units, and the Croatian Ordinance on Measurement Units.
