Leksikon mjernih jedinica

Leksikon mjernih jedinica stručno je leksikografsko djelo s područja mjeriteljstva.

Uvodni dio donosi prikaz osnovnih mjeriteljskih pojmova koji se odnose na mjerne jedinice. Leksikonski dio donosi abecedni opis oko 600 mjernih jedinica: zakonite mjernejedinice (jedinice Međunarodnoga sustava i iznimno dopuštene jedinice), jedinice koje su se upotrebljavale do uvođenja Međunarodnoga sustava, neke strane mjerne jedinice te povijesne mjerne jedinice koje su se upotrebljavale na tlu današnje Hrvatske. O svakoj su jedinici dani osnovni podatci: naziv jedinice, znak jedinice, definicija, veza s drugim jedinicama, područja primjene i druge napomene. U tabličnom dijelu pregledno su navedene mjerne jedinice prema pojmovnim skupinama. Abecedni poredak, grafičko označivanje vrste jedinica te tablični pregledi omogućuju jednostavno i brzo pronalaženje podatka o mjernoj jedinici. U Leksikonu mjernih jedinica prikaz suvremenih mjernih jedinica usklađen je s najnovijim preporukama Međunarodnoga ureda za utege i mjere, međunarodnim i hrvatskim normama (ISO i HRN), Smjernicama Europske unije za mjerne jedinice te s hrvatskim Pravilnikom o mjernim jedinicama.
