Eugenija Grande

Eugenija Grande

Honore de Balzac

Evgenija Grande's novel is a story that follows the main character from her youth until the end of her life.

Although it belongs to Scenes from a provincial life, this novel is not a typical "woman's story", but a human, universal story about the struggle between a pure heart, honesty, humanity and uncontrolled passion for money, fame, position in society. Perhaps at first glance, Evgenia's life seems tragic, even when we longing for love do not find it. Nevertheless, she is a winner in her own way, sending the message that we can find true happiness within ourselves.
