Zagor – Kolor #13: Zarobljenica Hurona
Zagor tells Chico about Banack, his first companion, and their search for a missing girl. This adventure from his youth leads to a dangerous confrontation with the Huron.
Before meeting Chico, Zagor shared his adventures with Banack, a mysterious Iroquois warrior. Who was his first companion, and what did they experience together? The Spirit with the Hatchet revisits those memories, telling his Mexican friend about a dramatic search for a missing girl.
Zarobljenica Hurona takes readers into Zagor’s youth and his early adventures. The search develops into a lengthy pursuit through the forest, with dangerous opponents standing in the way. The young hero must rely on his abilities and the help of a man whose own past raises questions.
Luigi Mignacco combines action-driven western adventure with the exploration of a lesser-known friendship. Banack’s place in Zagor’s life gives the story a personal dimension: the rescue mission becomes an experience with lasting consequences for those involved.
Val Romeo’s artwork, coloured by GFB Comics, follows a forest adventure framed as a recollection. The episode will appeal to readers interested in the hero’s formative years and the encounters that preceded his enduring partnership with Chico.
