Joza Ivakić often depicts the life of ordinary people, their everyday struggles and joys in his works. His short stories reflect love for their homeland and people, emphasizing the values ​​of togetherness and tradition.

This collection, edited by Miroslav Vaupotić, offers readers the opportunity to get to know the rich literary heritage of Slavonia through selected prose texts and understand the social and cultural processes that have shaped the identity of this area.
