Guinness World Records 2017 is part of the world-famous franchise launched in 1955 by the Guinness Brewery to document the extraordinary achievements of people, animals and nature. More than 4000 records: This edition contains exceptional, never-before-se

This edition, published in Croatian, contains more than 4,000 records on 256 pages, covering a variety of categories: sports, science, technology, art, music, nature and unusual feats. Richly illustrated with color photographs, infographics and detailed descriptions, the book is attractive to children, young people and adults, stimulating curiosity and inspiration.

A special emphasis in the 2017 edition is placed on space, with a feature that includes exclusive interviews with astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Chris Hadfield, along with descriptions of space missions and technologies. The new chapter “Try This at Home” features interactive records, such as stacking the most coins in a minute, which readers can try using household items. Examples of records include the fastest dog running on its front paws (Jiff, a Pomeranian, 7.76 seconds for 5 meters), the largest rocking chair (Illinois, 17 meters high), and the longest line dance (China, 10,000 dancers). The book also records technological feats, such as the fastest drone (DRL RacerX, 265 km/h).

Algoritam's edition has been adapted for the Croatian market, while maintaining the global charm of the series. Each record is supported by rigorous checks and certificates, guaranteeing authenticity. The structure is clear, with clear categories and short but informative descriptions, with additional stories about the records behind the scenes.
