Eros & Pornos

A work of art arouses excitement, constantly different. We constantly experience art differently, with other feelings, other connotations, other loves. Love, as is known, is eros, caritas and agape. Everyone has felt and experienced the energy of primary eroticism, that joy and excitement in the soul. It is the basic activity, the basic level, of art. A work of art is the basic product of eros. Every art is erotic, since it provokes emotions and psychological experiences that are comparable and describable only with beauty, perhaps in meeting a dear person, with the man or woman we want or with anything mysterious, promising, enigmatic, foreboding. In painting, a simple white square on black or a few blue strokes on a white background can evoke emotions, describable only with excitement and erotic fulfillment. The circular traces of ocher or human skin by Lucija Fontana (1895—1968) create visual swirls, and the cut in the canvas simultaneously emphasizes the perspective and emphasizes the painter's gesture. Other times, the cut will suggest the author's stance against painting or for a new art. The spindle-shaped perforation with volumes of raised canvas, the highest in the center, will connote to Freud's followers only the stylization of the girl's lips. Where there is no beauty, excitement, joy, where there is no eros, no love and no art.
