For three pairs of close friends, celebrating the New Year together was a custom that they had nurtured for years. Diana and Eric Morrison, Pascali John Donnally and Anne and Robert Smith drank champagne and made plans for a summer vacation in a rented villa in the south of France. But life had its own plans... After only two weeks, their lives were shaken by a tragedy. Robert's terrible, sudden loss filled their hearts with pain and sorrow.
