As Diana Morrison set the table for six in her elegant New York apartment in Central Park, she could not have dreamed what awaited them.
For three pairs of close friends, celebrating the New Year together was a custom that they had nurtured for years. Diana and Eric Morrison, Pascali John Donnally and Anne and Robert Smith drank champagne and made plans for a summer vacation in a rented villa in the south of France. But life had its own plans...
