Gospođica Šambon je priča o susretu Antonija, portugalskog zidara, i Veronik Šambon, učiteljice njegovog sina. Antonio i Veronika vole i žele jedno drugo, ali u tišini iu svojim mislima. Vide se, razgovaraju, ali ne pominju osećanja koja ih vezuju.
