Zagor LU #160: Grad u močvari
Zagor follows Richter towards a hidden Aztec city, where the search for an ancient secret collides with a conspiracy against its ruthless ruler.
Grad u močvari continues Zagor’s Mexican adventure as he pursues the archaeologist Richter and his associate Velasquez. Their trail leads towards New Tenochtitlan, a hidden city whose legacy attracts outsiders determined to uncover its secrets.
Burattini combines lost-civilisation adventure with political intrigue. While the newcomers seek something precious within the city, opposition grows at court to policies that threaten its survival. Competing interests converge in a setting endangered from both within and beyond its walls.
The suspense develops through shifting relationships and conflicting ambitions. Zagor faces motives extending beyond a simple treasure hunt, while the ancient city becomes the setting for a struggle involving personal gain, authority and responsibility towards a community.
Gallieno Ferri’s artwork builds atmosphere through imposing settings and expressive characters. The mixture of exotic adventure, court conspiracy and action prepares the ground for the storyline’s climax.
This is part four of the five-issue arc spanning Ludens #157–161, following U džungli Yucatana and leading into the concluding Piramida krvi.
