The aim of this encyclopedic atlas is to present each of the 192 countries of the world in detail. The encyclopedic articles vary in scope, but each is prepared in such a way as to provide all the necessary facts and data. In doing so, established models are applied, which shape the text into a logical and rounded whole, achieving clarity and enabling comparisons of individual countries. The article for each country is divided into three main sections: geography, society, economy, and is supplemented with data on physical and climatic characteristics, flora and fauna, important historical events, and culture and social life. The texts are supplemented with numerous high-quality color illustrations and photographs.
