The book The Strange Adventures of the Apprentice Hlapić is one of the most widely read novels for children by Ivana Brlić Mažuranić. It is a book for all time about the little, wise, brave and good apprentice Hlapić and his seven-day adventures.
On his journey, the apprentice Hlapić meets many interesting characters, does good deeds, and leaves us readers with a message that it is good to do good and that we should not deviate from moral values because they always win. This edition is enriched with contemporary illustrations in the collage technique by the young artist Veronika Bauer, and a very interesting and rich "methodological practicum" by the author Dr. Lidija Dujić, intended (especially) for students, teachers, and parents.
