Zagor LU #173: Huroni
Zagor and Chico protect David, a young amnesiac hunted by Huron warriors led by a one-eyed white man, while trying to discover why his pursuers want him dead.
Huroni begins with David, a young man whose memory has been erased by a tomahawk blow. He cannot explain why Huron warriors led by a one-eyed white man are determined to kill him. Meeting Zagor and Chico gives him a chance to survive and seek answers.
Zagor chooses to protect the stranger despite knowing little about his pursuers’ motives. The missing memory becomes the central mystery, with each confrontation potentially offering a clue to David’s past. Keeping him alive and discovering his identity become inseparable tasks.
Mauro Boselli constructs an adventure western in which the pursuit also functions as a crime mystery. David’s inability to explain his situation deepens the uncertainty, while his enemies’ determination suggests a significant secret behind the attacks. Trust, loyalty and the search for truth propel the extended adventure.
Alessandro Piccinelli makes his debut as a Zagor artist with this storyline. This issue opens a four-part sequence continued in Jednooki i njegova banda and Dolaze Mohave, before concluding in Ludens #176, Mississippi. The complete sequence follows David’s struggle to recover both safety and his past.
