Zagor LU #82: Tragedija u Silver Townu
A bank robbery and Linda Hill’s kidnapping draw Zagor into danger. Brothers Greg and Mark Rydell stand on opposite sides of the law, complicating the search with family ties.
Tragedija u Silver Townu begins with Zagor’s encounter with Linda Hill, the local bank director’s daughter. Greg Rydell works at the bank, while his brother Mark has chosen crime. When a robbery leads to kidnapping, Zagor joins a search in which the captive’s safety and the brothers’ relationship both contribute to the suspense.
Moreno Burattini combines a crime story with a family drama. The brothers’ contrasting choices bring the conflict between lawful behaviour and criminal ambition into the same household. The pursuit therefore involves more than physical obstacles: trust, responsibility and the consequences of another person’s actions all become important.
Franco Donatelli illustrates the title adventure, moving between the town setting, conversations and action sequences. Familiar Western ingredients—a bank, robbers and a kidnapping—gain emotional weight through the family conflict at the centre of the plot.
The issue opens with the conclusion of Omča, also written by Burattini and drawn by Gallieno Ferri. The title story continues and concludes in the opening section of Ludens #83, Izdajnik. This volume thus combines the resolution of one adventure with the beginning of a crime Western, making its place within both stories important for readers collecting complete narratives.
