Zagor LU #169: Srce i mač
As the samurai Takeda prepares to avenge himself on Zagor, attacks threaten Chinese railway workers and Jeng falls into the dangerous Carrizo’s hands.
Srce i mač continues the adventure at engineer Robson’s railway construction site, where Zagor faces several enemies at once. The samurai Takeda prepares for a confrontation driven by revenge, but his sword is not the only danger the Spirit with the Hatchet must confront.
Mysterious attacks threaten the Chinese workers, while Carrizo captures Jeng. A personal duel and the protection of vulnerable people become interconnected responsibilities. Zagor cannot concentrate solely on an opponent who challenges him openly when other threats operate behind the scenes.
Moreno Burattini combines samurai revenge with a railway western and criminal intrigue. Violence against the workers gives the conflict a social dimension, while Jeng’s predicament raises the personal stakes. Honour, revenge and responsibility for others shape a story in which competing interests converge at the same location.
Massimo Pesce illustrates the railway setting, action sequences and looming samurai confrontation. This is the middle instalment of a three-part adventure begun in Čovjek koji je došao s Orijenta. The conclusion follows in Ludens #170, Vrijeme za osvetu.
