Mister No SD #17: Dvoje na meti
A film containing compromising photographs of a powerful crime boss falls into Mister No’s hands. He and his client Penelope Prescott become targets as the criminals pursue the evidence.
In Dvoje na meti, Mister No takes on a new client, Penelope Prescott. Their encounter takes an unexpected turn when a photographic film containing compromising images of powerful crime boss Leovigildo Cesare falls into Jerry’s hands. Determined to recover it, the boss’s men begin hunting the pilot and the young woman.
Evidence capable of exposing a criminal also endangers anyone holding it. Luigi Mignacco builds his crime adventure around this effective premise: two accidental possessors of dangerous information face an adversary with resources and manpower. For Jerry, an ordinary professional engagement becomes a shared struggle to stay safe.
The tension rests on the imbalance between pursuers and pursued, and on the problem of what to do with evidence neither protagonist intended to discover. Domenico and Stefano Di Vitto illustrate an action-driven story in which resourcefulness and quick decisions become essential. The episode explores the crime-thriller side of the series, drawing its danger from a tangible human interest: a powerful man’s determination to keep damaging information out of public view.
