Teorijski bilten

Sokolov donosi kritike dotadašnjih teorijskih tumačenja i predlaže preciznije definicije tematskih klasifikacija, što je bilo znatno za standardizaciju terminologije.

“Teorijski bilten 1964.” je specijalizirana publikacija posvećena šahovskoj problemskoj kompoziciji, koju je uredio poznati problemist i teoretičar Vladimir Sokolov. Riječ je o godišnjem preglednom izdanju koje okuplja teoretske članke, analize, primjere novih tematskih ideja i rezultate istraživanja iz područja šahovskih problema. Publikacija je bila namijenjena prvenstveno problemistima, sastavljačima i sucima, te je igrala važnu ulogu u razvoju teorije šahovske kompozicije 1960-ih.
