“Theoretical Bulletin 1964” is a specialized publication dedicated to chess problem composition, edited by the famous problemist and theorist Vladimir Sokolov. It is an annual review edition that brings together theoretical articles, analyses, examples of new thematic ideas and research results in the field of chess problems. The publication was intended primarily for problemists, compilers and judges, and played an important role in the development of chess composition theory in the 1960s.
