Zagor LU #313: Isabelina prošlost
Taking shelter in a ghost town, Blondie reveals her past to Zagor as the threat of ruthless outlaws builds towards a decisive confrontation.
Isabelina prošlost (Isabel’s Past) concludes an adventure that forces Zagor to work alongside his former adversary, Blondie. Sheltering in a ghost town, the companions gain a brief respite, during which she reveals the history behind her real name, Isabel. Her childhood experience of her parents’ violent deaths casts the outlaw in a different light.
Her account explores the circumstances that led her into crime and the reasons for her latest escape from prison. These revelations remain closely connected to the immediate danger: a confrontation with ruthless bandits is approaching, and the deserted buildings become a position the companions must prepare to defend.
Antonio Zamberletti combines a personal confession with a tense frontier showdown. Zagor and Blondie must rely on each other while Chico goes in search of reinforcements. His mission gives him a substantial role, connecting the defenders’ hopes to events beyond the ghost town.
Mauro Laurenti’s artwork moves between intimate recollections and action. This final chapter deepens Blondie’s character by showing the losses and violence behind her reputation, without separating that history from the consequences she still faces.
