Zoran Vukman

Zoran Vukman (1966), completed his studies in philosophy, Russian language and literature. He is an analyst of social, political and religious phenomena, he is engaged in essay writing, prose writing and translation. He works as a journalist for the daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija, where he established himself as a columnist and political commentator during the nineties. His second book, Kuda ideš, Hrvatska is a collection of selected and highly noted columns by Hrvatska raskrižija, which he has been writing regularly since the spring of 1997 in the well-known Split daily. He systematically and consistently analyzed Croatian reality in various aspects, from spiritual and moral to political, psychosocial and religious. Until now, also published by Verbum, he has published a book of essays, The Decline of the World or the New Age of Paganism, which achieved great success, and in 1998 was one of the most read books in Croatia, for months at the top of the list of the most sought-after nonfiction titles, and the book Stepinac and Croatia, neither red nor black in its own edition.
