Stanislava Adamić

Croatian writer and translator (Koprivnica, December 11, 1921 – Split, May 11, 2005), graduated from the Higher Pedagogical School in Split (1954), the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb (1958) and the Theological Institute in Split (1986). . She taught in secondary schools and at the Higher Pedagogical School and the Faculty of Theology in Split. She wrote children's, lyrical-introspective, reflective and religious-mystical poetry and prose. More important books: Songs of Blazing Mornings (1955), Encounters (1963), Swamps and Stars (1970), Demons (1974), Raspuće (1977), I sing of Joy(1996).
