The book contains a series of masterfully designed sketches of the most important coastal cities: Trieste, Zadar, Šibenik, Split and Dubrovnik. In the second part of the book, there are also short observations about our people and regions outside the Adriatic coast. The following are sketched: Primorski, Lič, Slavonia, Bosnian and Herzegovina regions and Hrvatsko Zagorje.
