Violinist iz Venecije
A fascinating story about love, ambition and passion...
The beautiful daughter of a rich Venetian merchant, Adriano d'Amato, has an exceptional gift for music, and despite her father's prohibition, she secretly takes violin lessons from the famous musician Antonio Vivaldi. The passion she shares with him for music soon grows into a secret love affair. But Vivaldi is a priest and his relationship with Adrian is unacceptable both in the eyes of the Church and in the eyes of society. Both are aware that one day she will have to marry and that will be the end of their relationship, but no one can predict the series of events that will force Vivaldi to choose between his love for his wife and his love for music. The consequences of that choice, as well as Adriana's decisions, will haunt them both for the rest of their lives in ways they could never have dreamed of. Adriana's father is determined to marry her off to a rich and prominent Venetian patrician, and a handsome and charming young man from a distinguished noble family only further complicates the matter...
