Ubistvo u Orijent ekspresu

Ubistvo u Orijent ekspresu

Agatha Christie

One of the most famous trains of all time, the Orient Express, surprisingly full for the time of year, rumbling along on its three-day journey from Istanbul to Paris, suddenly stops in the middle of the night.

A blizzard buried the railway in a deserted place, between Vinkovci and Slavonski Brod. Everything was as calm as a grave, until at one point a cry was heard. "Undoubtedly it is the nerves," muttered Hercule Poirot, and fell asleep again. But when he woke up, he realized that it wasn't nerves after all, but that the number of passengers had decreased by one person during the night.
