The novel "Slow Surrender" by Goran Tribuson was published in 1984 and is a generational novel that deals with topics such as youth, aging, and cultural changes. The main character of the novel, Petar Gorjan, wants to live in a "musical time capsule", listening to his rock idols and preserving the spirit of the 1960s of his generation. Tribuson is known for his works that often explore personal and generational identity and reconstruct the popular culture mythology of the 1960s.
