"Embrace of Millions" is a book by Zvonko Penović, which is dedicated to the "guardians of beauty". This essay-lyrical collection of texts consists of two cycles: the first is a kind of dream about the role and power of art as the foundation of civilization and heritage, while the second cycle explores the possibility of creating a better world inspired by Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Penović is also known for his passion for French chanson and his extensive monograph on Jacques Brel.
