Lijepo stoji partizanska bluza
This book explores the importance of partisan iconography and its influence on fashion and society.
In 1972, a music and fashion campaign was launched under the name "Partisan blouse looks nice". The goal of the campaign was to popularize partisan iconography and oppose Western trends. Designers Zagorka Stojanović and Ana Marija Car were hired to create fashion versions of partisan blouses, coats, jackets, handbags and hats, while the Cluz factory took over the production and distribution of the clothes. The main face of the campaign was the young musician Boris Bizetić. The campaign also included a TV show in which Bizetić performed partisan songs, and that show was declared the most watched show in 1972.
This book provides an insight into the importance of the partisan blouse as a symbol of courage, unity and the fight for freedom.
