Daniel Defoe

A celebrated adventure novel about the shipwrecked Robinson who manages to survive on a deserted island through willpower, persistence and a combination of skills.

In that book, the author shows how people can overcome various difficulties with effort, patience and resourcefulness, and at the same time shows our need to communicate with people and the need to be part of society. He was born in London around 1660 and died in 1731 and traveled the world all his life.
