William Frederick Cody or Buffalo Bill was a mail rider of the "Pony Express", a guide and tracker in the US Army, a mercenary fighter against Indians, a professional buffalo hunter. In 1883, he organized a revue of cowboy skills "Wild West Revue", in which he performed as the main star.
