"Purpurni vek" is the first book of the trilogy about the Dukajs.
The action takes place in Europe around 1848 and follows the story of two brothers from Hungary who are completely politically and ideologically different: Dali Dukaj is an ardent lover of freedom, while Antal Dukaj is a conservative bureaucrat.
Ararat is the first part of the saga of the Hungarian count family Dukaj, and its events span the historical periods of Europe from the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century

A young diplomat returns from Barcelona devastated by the separation from his beloved woman. However, he soon meets a new love. But when he is about to crown this relationship with marriage, his former girlfriend returns.
